How Journal Club Works

Prior to Journal Club:
1. Select two (or more) articles to read thoroughly and be prepared to fully discuss. Scan the others so you know the general content.
2. You can claim 0.5 CPEUs for each article read (maximum of 15 per year, at least for my cycle), so you can go ahead and log those activities.

During Journal Club:
1. Log in at the scheduled start time and post a brief introduction about yourself...name, where you work, hobbies, etc....to make this more personal.
2. Take the lead on the discussion for the articles that you selected. Post information from them, ask questions for the group, answer questions, etc.
3. Follow along with the discussion on the other articles. Read the information posted, ask questions, etc.
4. To get credit, you must actively participate in the discussion throughout the hour-long session.

After Journal Club:
1. I will send a certificate of participation that you can keep on file in case you are audited.
2. Go to your CPEU log and document your 1 hour of Journal Club.
